The World is Going Crazy

Does it seem to you that the whole world is going crazy? Well, that’s truer than you might think. The Bible says “For the wisdom of this world is foolishness to God…” (1 Corinthians 3:19 NLT). So if the world does seem crazy to you, that could be a sign that you are on the right track to thinking the way God does. The more we conform ourselves to the wisdom and principles of God, which by the way is foolishness to the world (see 1 Corinthians 1:18), the more the world will seem crazy. And if it seems like its getting worse, well it is. The Bible says “And this world is fading away, along with everything it craves…” (1 John 2:17 NLT). And it will keep getting more and more crazy; after all, “the world around us in under the power and control of the evil one” (1 John5:19 NLT). But take heart my fellow Christ followers because “the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world ” (1 John 4:4 NIV) and he has overcome the world (John 16:33).
